The video is amazing. The discrepancy mentioned earlier is, I believe, due to the speedo display's showing kph instead of mph, so the lines seemed to go by more slowly than the indicated speed...........I think.

If we were European, the speedo/lines would have probably looked normal, since 100 kph is only about 61 mph, making the lines seem to be a little more than half as fast as the American mph-oriented brain would expect to see. Also explains the exaggerated quickness of acceleration indicated by the speedo.
