:D Happy man...I rode today. Yep the Lady said....it's not really that cold, come on; she said just around the block once. No leather or boots I rode 50 miles like a blooming idiot!
When I parked The Lady in the garage she just smiled.............
Me ....I was numb! hehehe

It was all the way up to 35 degrees!!!...AND the roads were dry! And I'd been fightin with these dumb (inside) mounts for a set of blinds...on a hollow vinyl window frame...grrrrr. Won the war but needed a break. (btw...if you order replacement windows for your house?...make sure the frame headers have a wooden blank in them unless you like major frustration...anyhoooooo) Sooooo...
warmed up the V-star...threw on my snow pants and every other layer I could fit under my thrasher coat...dribbled an ounce or so of stabil into the tank and ran the 5 blocks or so down to the gas station. Then took off for a short 25 mile road snort. 5 miles down the road my face was numb but I figgered that was a good thing since it wasn't hurtin no more, right?
Got my fix and parked that little sweetie in the garage. I may not be able to ride again for a while but I've been hearing good news lately on other fronts so....life is good! :excited: Ya'll take care, now!

Stll have a ton of snow on the ground but we are suppose to get a couple of 40 degree days this week and an overnight rain that should clean the sand off the roads. So, I hope to get a ride in Friday or over the weekend.

We rode Sunday. The Denver Area Toy Run started the day. Very cold riding over there but it warmed up nicely into the 60's by early afternoon. Once we finished with the toy run we rode out to my bosses house so I could fix his car and had lunch. Took the long way home just as the sun was beginning to lose its punch. My wife learned a good lesson as this was her first really cold ride on her bike. I think I see some heated clothing under the Xmas tree...he he he
Rode in to work today. Very nice. Especially for December in Ohio.

I don't even think about not riding until it gets below 10 degrees...(or when it is wet). Yep..I am the idiot that rode across the Smoky Mountains last year in 7 degree temps in the valley   But I sure got the strange looks from the cagers!!! (This is all thanks to Gerbing heated clothing..it is awesome!!!)
