question on this weather thingy

My computer doesn't show the weather thing at the bottom of the posts that people have made. It shows on another computer that I used. Do I need to do something special? Running Windows XP, Help!

I'm using XP and it displays properly, I wouldn't think that it would be any different unless maybe you have something in your firewall not allowing it to update. And that my friend is a WAG :lol:

O.K something in Norton is blocking it, when I turn off the firewall it shows, on it doesn't

That sounds like Norton........

That's the reason I went with Zone Alarm for a firewall and McAfee with virus and etc.

I disabled the McAfee firewall cause I had Zone Alarm first and it works great.......

OH, by the way, your temperature thingy shows up on your post.

Does mine show up when you view it? It should......

Yes yours shows up and I can see mine with the Norton turned off. Have to wait until one of the Guru's get here and maybe they can tell me what to do. I like having it and seeing the temps in other areas, but I don't want to leave firewall off.

Figured it out had to turn off add blocking.
