Day late and a few dollars short!! It's OK though, I got the SkyFi2 radio with a marine kit so it can be in the rain. That is not on your list of deals, but the $69 for the radio and car or home kit is a great deal!!

I don't see why not. The one in my truck just sets next to my FM radio, no plugins.

Lamont,
does that Roady2 have an 1/8 stereo output, or just Fm modulator?

Jeff,
I happened to look at pops when he was here this weekend.
It does have the stereo jack on it also.
I have the Roady, it does not have the fm modulator.
The Roady2 does.
Now if I was buying one today, I would look long and hard at the Myfi.
I looked at one this weekend and with everything you get it is a great buy.
It has everything of the roady2 plus will store up to 5 hours of music.
Also the antenna is built into the unit, would make bike mounting a lot cleaner.

Hope this helps.
Jon

We have the original roady.
I have found that if I have the Garmin 2610 turned on and then I turn on the Roady. The Garmin will lose all the Satelites.
I called a local audio dealer here in town and asked them about it, and they knew that it would do it.
I didn't try it with a Roady 2.
So I took my Garmin up there and tested it with a MyFi, and it doesn't effect it.
Laid the MyFi on top of the Garmin and all systems were still working!!!
Now I have to save a few penny's to buy me a xm seeing as LeAnn has taken over mine.
We love it and wouldn't be without it on a long trip!!!

Purchased it Tues PM and it was shipped Wednesday, unbelievable service. Lamont you should be getting royalties for all the 3 month contracts you were directly responsible for selling, and thanx for all the help with my pix posting, you are a cyber dick (detective) and a good friend all these years helping friends with the little and the big things. You have brightened many lives, I know you have brightened mine. You have developed an indominatable spirit. Anybody who can tackle the great battery measuring caper has to be unconquerable :) I put a bunch of my old valk stuff on the classifieds here and on VRCC just for exposure. When I first joined the old VRCC my number was #26 and that was a long time ago. Just an old man's ramblings: thanx :P tedsmini AKA teehee

By the time XM bills you for the radio the shipping the tax and the 3 months subscription it's $103 and then when the radio actually comes they threaten you with, "you either stay subscribed for 6 months or pay $150 PENALTY on a MyFi and $50 for each radio if you decide to cancel before you pay for 6 months subscription." So watch out as they definitely are into unethical practices as NOWHERE in their advertising did they mention about the 6 months bit. Caveat Emptor  Sometimes a deal that sounds too good to be true is just that, not true
