3rd Storm Expected In 1 Week

DES MOINES, Iowa --
There is a winter storm watch in effect from Tuesday until noon Wednesday for much of Iowa. (Check if your county is affected by the alert.) I'm right in the middle :snow1:
The National Weather Service said a slow-moving front now over the Rockies will slide into the state during the next 36 hours.
Snow is expected to creep into the northwest corner of the state by Monday night and then spread to the rest Iowa within 24 hours.
The weather service said the storm has potential for heavy snow and considerable blowing and drifting as winds pick up Tuesday night.
Freezing rain is also possible.
Last week, Iowa was hit by two snowstorms within three days.
