Chrysler sold nine replicas through Neiman Marcus, for up to $555,000 each. The motorcycles cannot be legally driven on public roads. A Chrysler spokesman told Reuters they were meant as rolling sculptures - but they can probably still be driven on private roads (the rolling-sculpture comment may be designed to avoid legal liability).

I remember seeing a show on it and they said the farthest anybody has ridden it is about 1/2 mile. It gets unstable at high speed. Pity

It has a theoretical top speed of 220+. Think you could hold on??

I would love to see a street legal version. I remember when this was first shown they were talking about a $ 175K - 200K price for a street legal version.

Pity.

Hehe! This reminds me of a joke I heard: This guy goes out to work, and finds an insurance sitting on his car , arms spread out. So he asks "Hey insurance what are you doing hugging my car?", and the insurance answers "I'm not hugging, i'm a BLANKET".

What a shame and waste, if you can't at least use its potential.
