The weather here has been great but I knew is was going to turn today so I made a run to town and ordered a replacement pair of glasses ($300 bucks) and got a burger while I was out. I cleared out the place where I got the glasses :D They all said what a nice bike it was but when I told them it had a Chevy V8 in it they just had to go take a look. :D

By the way if you wear glasses on a bike and you go to change lanes on the freeway make sure you have something on your glasses so they don't fly off of your head! :evil:

I figured I only put on about 20 miles and I get 21 mpg so for less than two bucks I got a good little pick me up and boy did I need it. Just wish I could have rode a little longer. :(

I heard that!! I got that Accelerometer I was telling you about and took the trike out for some quick test runs. It measures the 0-60 times, the 1/8th miles speed and time, and the 1/4 mile speed and time. When I got back home I parked it in the shop so I can change out that tranny I got a couple weeks ago, then do some comparisons. Looking forward to the results, cause these weren't all that impressive and this FX-2 is supposed to be very accurate. It said my 0-60 time was just under 5 seconds and my 1/4 mile was high 12's to mid 13's, I had hoped for better than that. Hope this tranny helps both of those out!! Anyway, a great medicine for sure just checking it out!!

It was so noce today, 55, so I did driver 55. :lol: However, I still have that twitch in the right hand every now and then. Went visiting at several bike shops. The bought some groceries and headed home. Only about 150 miles, but it was fun. It was great to be riding without all the cold weather stuff. Headed out now to get some gas. Who knows, I might be home by midnight. :shock:

Hey RJ, I know how to answer that question you asked Lamont!! I read you are planning on going to Daytona in March, are you bringing the trike?? If so, I say we put a small wager on the eigth or quarter mile, and try them out, then the loser gets to compensate the winner for having to prove their tri-superiority!!!!
It would be fun to compare anyway, don't ya think?? I am game...

We be a goin through Memphis, Chattanooga, Atlanta and staying in St Augustine for 3 or 4 nights and then head for Key West till Friday morning and then bogey for home.........

Can only keep the shop closed for a week at the most.......
