Lamont know of a key lockable type that will accept the 2610/20 or RAM makes mounts for most bikes also.
I use a RAm mount for my 2610 with the 1 inch ss ubolt.

I use the Ram system.
Works pretty well for me. Easy on and off and the ball and bracket I leave on the bike isn't an eyesore when the gps isn't being used.
There is another one some of the touring guys use, a Tourtek or something like that.
It's a lot bigger, ugly, more expensive and may be a little more secure.
I use the RAM system on both the Bike and the Trike for my 2620.
In the cages I use the bean bag...........

Look at the first picture on the right, chrome plated one...... I have this mount for both the bike and the Trike, except mine is BLACK.....
Then I bought the cradle with the ball mount for the 2620.
there are 3 pieces, handlebar ball mount, cradle with ball mount and the sleeve that attaches to the 2 ball mounts and hand tighten with a wing nut.
Mine was in a set, combination of the 3..... Couldn't find it online, but when I called in to order the 3 pieces the operator told me of the 1 unit....

I run the 2620 and since it has a hard drive in it I use the TouraTech 065-0068 Handlebar mount for StreetPilot 2610 and 2650 it also work on the 2620. Some say it is big and Ulgy  And I agree it is big. But I think it looks High Tech. It also comes with or without a lock. I was informed that if your unit has a hard drive in it then you should use one of these to keep it from skipping. RJ has mentioned in the past he has had the hard drive skip on his 2620. I have put maybe 1-2K on the bike with this setup and had no skips or problems. Also encountered some dirt road and no problems. However there are some down falls to this unit. (1) Price  They are proud of it, But then again it is a high Tech unit. I also like to be able to lock it, since the Garmin is such a pricy unit. This isn't a plastic thingy ma gig. It is made from aluminum. Then I run a RAM handle bar mount kit with Ball end, then a RAM Female/Female Short middle section and then the RAM Ball mount for the bottom of the TouraTech Base. RAM now make the short leg in Chrome which is a bonus. Here are some links to see what it looks like.

All in all I am very happy with the setup I am using. I want it visable, and easy to reach, and I also want it as secure as possible. On the short arm if you remove the thumb / Wing nut and but a regular nut on the unit becomes much more secure. I took some pictures of mine on my bike if you would like to see them send me a message with your e-mail address.
Good luck with whatever you find that works best for you and your budget.

Looking through the links, I was wondering if the audio cable (cycoactive) could be connected to the Interstate radio to be "guided" ?
Thanks again for your answers.

Yes it can, but you cannot listen to radio or tapes if you do. I have an earphone in the helmet for the GPS.

I prefer the radio over listening to the GPS. Plus the GPS talks too much almost like having a passenger :D I do hear it in the tank bag sometimes. But that is only when the music is off.

Ya'll must use your GPS different than I do.
When I take off, I usually know the general vicinity of where I'm headed.
When I get about 10 miles from my destination, then I dial in the address and let the GPS direct me on in. So I only have to listen to her talk for about 20 minutes maximum.........
That way I have the MPH and direction I'm headed on the screen. I use the MPH on the GPS more than I do the speedo on whatever unit I'm riding or driving........ Also this way I can take unheard of shortcuts that the unit will not route me on......... But, it will show me where I'm at in the process.........
