VTX & Valkyrie question

I know there are some members here that have or have had both a VTX & Valk. Since I'm using a smaller front tire on my Valkyrie, I want to use a smaller front fender also. I've been looking for a VTX front fender, but so far have only been able to find VTX Retro front fenders. My question is, will the retro fender fit on the Valk and is it smaller than the Valk's front fender?

Have you actually picked up your bike yet? Did you also get salvage rights on the purple bike? I am looking for some hard bags...and I will trade ya an exhaust system for em. :P

I pick up the bike tomorrow or Sunday. I have a set of Beetle bags on order and am selling the bags off the new bike. I have already priced the bags to someone else and promised them the first right of refusal. If you're interested in them, and the other person doesn't take them I'll let you know.

I'll also be selling the Corbin seat and Cobra light bar (may be spoken for)

Sorry, can't answer your question about the compatiblility of VTX parts. Have ridden the VTX-c, not owned one.

I do have a question that I hope you can answer. I guess that you had Beetle Bags on you last Valk (I never saw it....did see the Kawi tho). I assume that you like the Bags. Is there anything you would change? Fit? Finish? Capacity? BTW...do you order direct? Price if ya don't mind me asking?

I like the Hard Bag look but got scared at the OEM prices.... Thanks for any input.

I liked the beetle bags because of the clean look.
They seemed to hold about the same amount as the hondaline and are easily removed by removing 2 nuts inside the bag and 1 bolt below the passenger peg. I ordered mine from Hal:
