Winter is coming.......

The old gal is in the garage, and as I pass by her she whispers, "We're riding this weekend right?" I turn a glance to her and say, "you know how the weather is here." She still persists... "But we are riding again ..I'm not to sleep here all winter right?" "But of course"... I say to her, trying to slip back in to the warmth of the house. As I close the garage door I hear her....Burrrrr.....Burrrrrr. I need to ride!

So I go up and get on the computer...check out the weather....yuk!pending snow this week end, the lady is going to be sad. As I turn the garage light back on she sees my leathers.....and now she's a spark plug, her eyes all lit up and a smile across her face...Yep ! A short one I told her! Burrrrr, Burrrr

Snowing again here tonight so don't count too high on riding this weekend. We had 4" Tuesday, and we are supposed to be in line for another 3 to 4" tonight.

Unfortunantly winter has already been here. We have a covering of snow that is started and will stay through April and remnants through May. The roads and cars/trucks are covered in salt and sand. Expecting a Noreaster the entire weekend ... up to a fresh 15" of snow :cry: I'll be busy with the plow, hope the power stays ON.

Snow Today in Indy, but I refuse to believe that the riding season is over :lol: for us Northerners. I will attempt to ride the Valk when the snow clears from the roadway. I cannot take another winter like last year.

I'd like someone to explain to me why the weather here in North Alabama is colder than it is in Colorado??? I should still be riding but no, we have been having cold wet stuff falling from the sky. We have already had sllet and snow flakes falling. This is not fair!! Mother nature is lucky she does not have a published phone number.
