Great news Mosa and Steven! :D I'm proud of all the young men and women willing to enlist in our Armed Services, especially when we're at war. It says a lot about character. God Bless Our Troops.

Mosa, I was a squid from 89-94. I ran Nuke plants on Submarines. Yeah... figure that. 6'2" 280ish when I was in the service, and I am a submariner...

Crypto techs... they are nicknamed squirrels. Start calling him a squirrel now.

Tell him to remind the jar heads that THEIR ID card says DEPT. of the NAVY!. :D

Hmmm, is that why the marines are a officially a part of the Department of the Navy?

As a controller in the Navy we sometimes used to refer to the marine bases the grunt pilots were flying to as navy (place your preferred airstation here), such as referring to marine cherry point (NKT, btw the "N" in the first part of the identifier refers to the Navy) as "Navy" cherry point. Man they used to get pissed, "NO approach THAT'S MARINE Cherry point, which we used to come back with just a "roger."

Yeah, good to see old rivalries still exist. It is all in fun during down times, but we all knew we could rely on each other regardless if we were navy or marine when it counted.
