I know they take some hits every once in a while but my orders have always gone as stated.
I ordered front fork springs and progressive shocks on Thursday, they shipped on Friday and the brown truck delivered them today (Wednesday).

I appreciate the comments. The reason we take a shot every now and then is that we aren't perfect and do have a mistake or misunderstanding every so often. For some reason this Internet environment that we do business in has created an atmosphere that causes people to call in the dogs if you say Hello with the wrong tone of voice.
As long as we do business I am sure we will have issues from time to time. We will solve any problem but we have to be given the opportunity to do it. Many people jump on a message board first before even trying to resolve the problem.
It all comes with the territory. And myself, Lamont, Chris, Wilbur and about 40 other employees will always do the right thing - - - - if you let us.

For Hal, Chris, Lamont and the rest of the gang at HDL.
Here is an example of HDL hospitality/doing it right.
I ordered a set of progressive 412 and found they were too soft... I called Chris at HDL and he stated give them a week if you don't like them send them back... well it did not take a week only a short ride to realize I order the wrong shocks. Sent them back yesterday.
What more can you ask of any store, personnel and doing what most stores absolutely forgot... Customer Service.
I have always had great service from HDL. They will continue to receive my business. I am only a drop in a bucket in their business, but they have always treated me like family.

I have been waiting about 5 weeks for my Progressive springs , so yesterday I gave Direct Line a call and Michele calls UPS and they say a woman accepted the shipment on 8/11. When I got home from last night's ride, I look next to the inside of the front door and sure enough...the package I thought was new blinds for the windows turn out to be the springs. Boy am I last losing it. :D
I guess what I am saying is that I continue to order from Direct Line because I have always been satisfied.
