77K miles and my front rotors are below the service limit. I intend to continue using the OEM pads. I have two questions about rotors:
1. Other than the tiniest bit of fade and perhaps the potential for warping are there any real drawbacks to running the front OEM rotors beyond their service limit of 4mm?
2. Does anyone have any personal or 2nd hand experience with non-OEM replacement rotors? I've heard of the EBC rotors but have unspecific, 5th-hand warnings about "issues" with them.
