Early this morning it was 28 degrees, but the sun was out. I emailed Tony about riding. He called Paul and Terry, and the four of us took off across Southern Illinois.
We first stopped at the local leather shop to get Paul some chaps, then on to 17th Street World Championship BBQ (Just for you TNT and J Dubya 8) ), then over to Grand Tower to see "The Devil's Backbone," then through the "Trail of Tears Park to Anna-Jonesboro, then back to Carbondale where we all headed home. I think it warmed up to 40 by days end. It was a great day to be riding. We only saw one other bike -- a V-Rod -- and he was waving his arm off. I guess he was surprised to see a group ride this late in the year.
