Toy Run Weekend........

Dec 5-6-7 / I am proud to post the information for this years Fort Lauderdale Toys in the Sun Run. I hope to see some posts from our regulars and invite our Brothers and Sisters from North FL, Amabama, Georgia, SC, NC, and the Panhandle to Join us this year. If you have never been part of this event I would invite you to take part in it just once. The size and scope of this Run is breathtaking. Last year, there were 33,568 bikes that took part in the 30-mile parade. This year they are expecting 35,000+....This years entertainment at the end of the Run is Blue Oyster Cult and Foghat. If you would like to see some pics of the event last year, please log onto the website provided. This year we were supposd to arrange a VIP run, but The organizers have completely lost their minds and are charging $200 per bike and $50 for an extra rider. I don't think so.....The Bahama Hotel is once again our Host Hotel and have given us a great oceanfront rate of $49 without breakfast coupon and $59 with breakfast coupon. They will be opening the Deck for breakfast at 6am for us to eat before we depart for the event at 7am. Please call Mike at 800-622-9995. Be sure to mention the VRCC-Toy Run for the rate. For those that want to come in on Friday, let me know and I will arrange dinner. Our run on Saturday 12-1pm, will be out to the Miccasucci Indian Casino for an Old Car Show sponsored by the Metro-Dade Police. We will have dinner at the Casino before our ride back to the Hotel. Sunday morning, as usual, will be an early morning. Breakfast at 6am and departing for the event by 7am. The run starts at 10am with the VIP taking off first then the main body. We get in early, so we are in the first two rows. Please pass the word and lets make this the best event yet. If you need directions or have any question, please call me at 954-553-3955 or e-mail me.
