Well I know what riding in 19 degrees is now thanks to Smilin Jack choosing Flagstaff as our meeting place  It wasn't till Jack told me his battery had died the day before that I began to worry. 5am I heard Jack fire it up in 8 degrees and went out to see if Innerstate would kick over :( darn switch was frozen. Hell with it I said and went back to bed. 7:30 Jack's hollerin outside your switch is fixed. Well Ole Jack is just that kind of guy. He went out and bought WD40 and freed up my switch. Hard to find a better friend than that! My Battery died so we jump started my bike. After a hearty breakfast we plugged in our Gerbings he heading west and me east. Hope you and the family had a great Thanksgiving in Vegas Jack. I used the electrics all the way to Gainesville Fl...brrrrr! Happy Thanksgiving and Best to all... vc

Gerbings??? You must really be getting soft. Glad you survived. Maybe someday that show "Survivor," will have a cross counrty bike ride through Death Valley and then to frozen North, and cover both coasts. You guys will be ready for that one. What tribe will you be in.

Ooops, I forgot. I have done 7 degrees without electrics. But, since was born at night, but not last night;, I bought me some 'lectric gloves this year. I discovered it is very hard to use the clutch and front brake when your fingers cease to function. Now , with my luck, it probably will be a mild winter and I won't get to properly test 'em. :)

You can put away your electric underware now. We got some excellent weather forcast for the next few days with highs in the 70's. Hope you didn't bring any of that cold stuff with you. LOL

Hey buddy, are you a puttin on weight for the winter, or is that an old picture?

You are a lookin good however.

Hey, I'll bet that was taken right after you ate dinner at the Church yesterday. Glad to hear you had a good meal and with friends.

See ya'll on the road to somewhere.

I'm still in Misery, Kansas City to be exact, so the youngest son gets to run the sled today in the snow drags on grass. I get to try it out the first week of December if he doesn't tear it up.

When I talked to him a little bit ago, he told me that sled is one scary piece of equipment. They got to test yesterday at the Fairgounds. He said one launch he came off the line at 10,000 RPM and she almost did a straight up in the air launch.

He did comment also that you wanted it to be in a straight line in the direction you wanted to go, otherwise there was no time to recover from a sashay to either side as she was way out of control.
