For those that knew Nick, and don't visit the VRCC anymore. Nick lost his fight with cancer today around noon.

It's been a long, tough fight here for Nick and his family. Yogi, Rocket, Shftr, PSU Bag...I've got to bow out for this weekend. We're going to stay local so we can be with friends and family. I've been asked to be a pallbearer and our intention is to ride to the funeral because Nick would have wanted it no other way.

Tonight we raised a glass and shed more than a few tears. Watch over us all Nick.

I bought some intercoms off Nick at InZane. He seemed like a very nice man. Our condolences to his family.

My Thoughts and Prayers for Nick and His Family. I had talked by telephone and corresponded with Nick by e-mail, finally meeting him at InZane. The MC community will be minus one good guy

Condolences to Nicks family and friends ... I copied and saved this poem but not sure to who the credit goes for writing it.

Keep his hands on the throttle, his eyes on the road.

Keep his adventurous spirit, both wild and bold.

Helmet, jacket and gloves on his hands, as he travels the highways, through God’s perfect lands.

He rides with the winds, when the road’s straight and true.

He rides to far off places, where skies are so blue.

He rides the long highways from Washington to Maine.

He rides in the blistering heat and cold biting rain.

He rides anytime, in all weather, all seasons.

He rides because he loves to, for any and all reasons.

He rides in the mountains, the deserts, the valleys.

He rides east and west and to the all the rallies.

He rides with a flair and a style all his own.

He’ one of those fellows you’re glad to have known.

He rides when he’s happy. He rides when he’s sad.

He rides to forget all the troubles he’s had.

He rides when he’s angry and comes back filled with smiles.

He forgot to be angry as he tacked on the miles.

And now it’s time for his very last ride, and God calls him to ride by his side.

He put on his helmet and turned on the key, pulled up the kickstand and then said to me.

“Don’t worry, my friend, for the road’s straight and true; and after my ride, I’ll be waiting for you”.

“Tell all my good buddies I’ve gone home to rest, and tell them, I’ve ridden with the best”

Rest in peace my dear friend.

I had the pleasure of riding with Nick on my last ride to Inzane II. I was in PA someplace getting gas and was met by a friendly smile from a guy on a Valk. We rode to Ohio, stopping for gas, to eat and took a few detours on our way.

We truely lost a very great man.

Nick, watch over us and i will surely see you when I get there.
